This impressive fruit basket features a boat-shaped form richly adorned with repoussé scrolls, florals, and foliate motifs. The scalloped rim is anchored at each end by a sculptural male figure seated on the edge and holding a staff, lending it a dramatic appeal. Resting on an oval, heavily decorated pedestal foot, it forms a commanding centrepiece. Marked ‘Lavorazione A Mano’ (handmade) on the base.
